The Rhino Momma Project in Namibia is one of the few remaining sanctuaries for the gentle giants that have become the target of poachers in recent years. As a result, the Anti-Poaching team at the project is in dire need of funds to better equip themselves to protect the Rhinos. With a target of $2000, we aim to purchase night vision scopes, binoculars, new boots, tents, and sleeping bags for the rangers.
Poaching is a major threat to the survival of the Rhino species, with horns fetching exorbitant prices on the black market. The Anti-Poaching team at the Rhino Momma Project plays a crucial role in safeguarding the Rhinos from these poachers. However, without the necessary equipment, their job becomes all the more challenging.
By contributing to the this fundraiser, you will be helping to create hope from hurt and save the survivors. The $2000 target will go a long way in providing the Anti-Poaching team with the equipment they need to carry out their duties effectively. Night vision scopes and binoculars will give the team an edge when patrolling at night, while new boots, tents, and sleeping bags will ensure they are warm and comfortable while in the bush.
The Rhino Momma Project is home to one of the largest populations of Rhinos in Namibia, and the increase in poaching outside South Africa makes it even more critical to better equip all Rhino caretakers across Africa. The fight to protect these endangered species requires the efforts of all well-meaning individuals, and by contributing, you can play your part in protecting this magnificent species.
