STS Mozambique collar a troublesome trio of Bull Elephants.

A 30 year old Elephant Bull has been causing problems in the Khulula region of Mozambique. He was with 2 other male Elephants, between them they have been raiding farmers crops and have destroyed community housing.
After coordinating with the local community and Authorities, our team, along with

Administração Nacional das Áreas de Conservação, went to collar the eldest male, so that we can monitor the trio’s movements and give warning to any communities they approach, enabling us to avoid any further conflict between this group and the humans with whom they share the landscape.
Sadly, groups of Elephants like this are often met with deadly measures to protect humans, thankfully our teams are able to become involved and provide solutions that are safe for Animals and people.
