Buffalo bull with a painful injury

Although our work takes us to help Rhinos in the majority of cases, this is not the only work we do. We also work with any other animal we are called to help. In this case a wild Buffalo bull.

This magnificent wild Buffalo bull sustained an injury to his sheath and the reserve manager noticed that he is reluctant to breed.

The Buffalo bull was captured and put into a boma holding facility, so that the he can easily be located and examined on a daily basis. Together with the attending veterinarian, Dr. Johan decided to remove the growth that had become infected on the sheath. This is to enable the bull to return to the herd and once again enable him to enact his full breeding potential.

Here is another example where with your support we create hope from hurt for Africa’s iconic species.

Remember that we are 100% funded by your donations. Please consider making a one off or monthly contribution to ensure our Veterinarians are always there to save the survivors.
