16 year sentence for female driver
A 37 year old woman has been sentenced to 16 years behind bars for assisting Rhino Poachers.
It’s great to see the South African authorities handing out considerable sentences to those that play any part in the murder of our Rhinos.
On Friday, Thembi Juliegirl Mangane (37) was sentenced to a total of 16 years in prison. She was found guilty of being the driver of a vehicle in an orchestrated plan to collect and transport poachers as they came out of the Kruger National Park once they were finished with their terrible mission to butcher Rhinos and steal their horns.
This latest sentence is a clear indication that South Africa is taking a strong stance against Rhino poaching. The public’s willingness to report any suspicious activity and the authorities’ commitment to investigating such reports is essential in the fight against poaching. The protection of endangered species such as Rhinos is vital for the preservation of our planet’s biodiversity, and it is reassuring to see that authorities and the public are working together towards this common goal.
