A Powerful New Partnership for Rhino Conservation
We’re thrilled to share an exciting development in our ongoing mission to protect Africa’s rhinos: Saving the Survivors has officially partnered with Solio Game Reserve — a historic and highly successful sanctuary in Kenya.
Since 2012, Saving the Survivors has worked tirelessly to provide advanced veterinary care to rhinos and other endangered wildlife wounded by poaching. Our team has pioneered surgical treatments for some of the most severe injuries and has supported breeding programs aimed at restoring rhino populations across the continent.
Solio Game Reserve, established in 1970, is Kenya’s first private rhino sanctuary and a leader in rhino conservation. It has played a vital role in breeding both Black and White rhinos and reintroducing them into protected areas across Africa.
Now, through this partnership, we’re combining our strengths: Saving the Survivors brings cutting-edge veterinary expertise, while Solio offers a safe and successful environment for rhino rehabilitation and breeding. Together, we aim to protect existing populations, care for the wounded, and support the growth of future generations of rhinos.
This collaboration represents a major step forward in the fight against poaching. By uniting medical intervention with long-term conservation strategies, we’re helping to secure a future where rhinos not only survive — they thrive.
