This week, under the watchful gaze of what’s ominously dubbed as the “Poacher’s Moon,” Hope’s vigilance reached new heights. With its brightness aiding poachers’ stealth, Hope’s presence, armed with her extraordinary skills and heightened senses, served as our frontline defence.

But Hope’s duties extend beyond mere patrols; they encompass education and inspiration. This week, she had the pleasure of meeting a group of bright-eyed youngsters visiting the Insimbi reserve. Witnessing Hope and her handler in action was a testament to the unbreakable bond between human and canine, as well as a showcase of Hope’s impressive training with the bite suit.
