Ongoing Rhino Anatomy Research

Exploring Uncharted Territory: Saving The Survivors’ Breakthrough in Rhino Anatomy Research

At Saving The Survivors, our mission has always been clear: to protect and rehabilitate Rhino survivors in their journey back to health and freedom. Yet, amidst our tireless efforts, we encountered a formidable obstacle – the scarcity of detailed information on Rhino anatomy within existing literature. This posed a significant challenge for our veterinary team, hindering their ability to conduct vital surgical procedures with precision and efficacy.

However, in the face of adversity, we chose to forge a new path. Recognising the urgent need for comprehensive understanding, Saving The Survivors initiated a groundbreaking research endeavour focused on unraveling the mysteries of Rhino anatomy. From the intricacies of the head and limbs to the composition of the skin and abdomen, our dedicated team embarked on a quest to fill the gaps in knowledge that had long impeded our efforts.

In collaboration with esteemed partners, such as the University of North Carolina, and guided by the expertise of Dr. Johan and Professors Anthony Blikslager and Mathew Gerard, Saving The Survivors delved into uncharted territory. Through meticulous study and analysis, we began to unlock the secrets of Rhino anatomy, one discovery at a time.

The fruits of our labour have been nothing short of remarkable. Our collaboration has resulted in the publication of several scientific papers, each contributing valuable insights into previously unexplored facets of Rhino anatomy. Armed with this newfound knowledge, our veterinary team has been empowered to perform surgical interventions with greater precision and success, bolstering our ability to safeguard the lives of these magnificent creatures.

Our journey of discovery continues, fuelled by a steadfast commitment to the well-being of Rhino survivors and the preservation of their species. As we navigate this uncharted terrain, we invite you to join us on this extraordinary expedition.
