Rhino on the move: The translocation of 2 Rhino Cows
Earlier this week, together with our partners in this project “Baby Rhino Rescue” 2 Southern White Rhino Cows were moved to their beautiful new home where Seha will join them in the new year.
We will allow the ladies to settle in over the festive period and our team can enjoy some much needed down time with their families. Then we will revisit them to dehorn, do genetics, do impressions of the feet and measurements of the body. All ahead of Seha’s arrival in the new year.
Thank you so much to BRR, Marataba Conservation Camps and all our supporters for making it possible for Seha to finally return to a more “Wild” life.
Seha is an iconic poaching survivor who has undergone over 30 operations to save his life. He is living proof that the work we do is a success, and is vital in the fight for the species future. You can read more about Seha’s difficult journey to recovery here.
